Kramer urge leaders to recognize that “shared value is not social responsibility, philanthropy, or even sustainability, but a new way to achieve economic success“. As a step forward in this direction, Shared Value Initiative India recognizes the organisations that are using shared value activities in their business models and bringing a positive change in society . Such organizations are awarded Porter Prize on Creating Shared Value.

‘Shared Value Enterprise’ is an initiative to identify, assess and recognize the organizations that are creating a measurable socio-economic impact with their business. Shared Value Enterprise is an endorsement for companies to recognize their positive contribution to the society. A shared value enterprise would be looked upon as change maker that many companies will look up to.

The Shared Value Index is a composite index assessing the overall performance of companies that are proactively engaging and designing strategy relevant to social activities.
